Fecimeo

Fecimeo is a variable geometry chamber music ensemble, meaning that the initial instrumental set (flute, clarinet, violin, cello and piano) evolves according to the recital programs.

The ensemble was founded in Geneva in 2014 by musicians who graduated from the Swiss music Universities (Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich), and has performed at several festivals (Les Jardins Musicaux, Lavaux Classic, Laboratoire musical, Festival du Toûno).

Fecimeo’s repertoire extends from18th century to present day compositions, with emphasis on 20th century and contemporary music.

With the intention of building bridges between public and music while in residence, Fecimeo opens its rehearsals with mediations involving the audience, as well as pedagogical workshops.

The ensemble is valued for the intense musical complicity between players, musical freshness and emotional exchange with the audience.
