Odile Lespérance

Odile Lespérance began her musical studies at the Conservatoire National de Région de Toulouse, her hometown. She then joined the class of Anne-Marie Morin at the Conservatoire National de Région de Paris, where she obtained a Diplôme d’Études Musicales in 2007.

She continued her studies at the Haute École de Musique de Genève in the class of Marie-Annick Nicolas, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2010 and a Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy in 2012.

Drawn to early music, she studied Baroque violin with Florence Malgoire and regularly collaborates with period-instrument ensembles such as Ensemble Fratres and Ensemble Opalescences.

Chamber music plays an important role in her musical activities, and in 2014 she co-founded the flexible-formation ensemble FECIMEO.

Passionate about teaching, she also trained in the pedagogical principles of Jaques-Dalcroze and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Dalcroze Pedagogy in 2012.

She has been teaching violin at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Communal of Saint-Denis (93) since September 2012.
